Job Description

As a member of the Zynga Localisation team, your role will be to deliver world class experiences to our international players by working closely with game teams to define and implement best practices in localization (user interface reviews, efficient translation processes, string writing, etc.) and ensuring timely deliveries of high quality translations.  

Work closely with game teams to establish and track localization budgets, guide language decisions, and drive culturalization efforts.

Join a team of enthusiastic localization experts and contribute to the success of legendary games like CSR2, Empires and Puzzles, or Zynga Poker, among many others. 



  • In collaboration with the game studio producers and management: 
    • Own schedules, language requirements, product requirements, and feature lists
    • Own project planning, international roadmap, and resource planning
    • Maintain and track budget allotment, escalate overspending trends and provide action plan to reduce spending where feasible
  • Work with localization QA and fully own the resolution of localization bugs. Track bug resolution x-functionally ensuring they are assigned the prioritization required within the game teams and other support teams
  • Track linguistic issues and provide resolution in an expeditious manner
  • Compile and publish thorough localization kits to vendors, optimizing pre-planning and overall information to be shared with translators. Innovate where possible by including video or other highly effective contextual tools
  • Responsible for daily releases of the assigned Zynga games internationally
  • Responsible for x-functional tasks with Payments, PA&S, Community, Legal, Business Development, Mobile Submit Team, Publishing, PR, Marketing, and other partner teams


Profile and Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of and experience in the globalization industry, including localization, and internationalization
  • Project management (ability to manage schedules, budgets, prioritization, etc.)
  • Experience working with cross-functional groups and multiple stakeholders in distributed locations worldwide
  • Flexible, motivated, self-starter, enthusiastic and goal-oriented individual; exceptional team player
  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with and extracting insights from data
  • Passion for social games and technology
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project & Google docs
  • Knowledge of a language that Zynga games support is preferred
